Update 4/5 THE DRAWING BOARD!

Our hovercraft is to include a seat, cup holder, and car stereo as the accessories. Mr. Griffin wants to be able to ride it down the hall with music and his coffee. We also tried to instruct a way to have brakes and reverse, as well as something to help steer.
A student came up with a great idea for brakes, reverse and steering. We will make a box to cover up the fans air supply with two holes cut for P.V.C. pipe on each side and a hole cut in the back for regular air flow for going forward. The two holes for the P.V.C. pipes allow the air to flow to the front and push the hovercraft backwards ultimately slowing it down and possibly allowing it to go in reverse.
In order to back up we decided that we could stop the air flow from going through one of the P.V.C. pipes and allow it to go through the other. Therefore, the air would only push you backwards from one P.V.C. pipe in the end turning you in the direction that corresponds to the pipe the air is coming out of. The flow to just one pipe should allow the ability to turn go backwards as well.
